You may think that as long as your dog isn't sick, everything's OK, right? After all, vitamins are vitamins, and dog food is already supplemented with vitamins and minerals. What more could my pet possibly need?

Fact) Dog food alone does not contain all the nutrients or nutrition that your dog needs. Next time you buy dog food, take a look at the ingredients listed on the back. Many people assume since its a brand name it is high quality, when in fact it may be of little or no value to your dog. Should a quality dog vitamin supplement contain any artificial ingredients or drugs of any kind?
